Frank Vogel Gives Promising Update on Lakers Roster For Opening Night vs Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers look a lot different than they did inside the NBA bubble in Orlando. Players will enter the new season tomorrow and head coach Frank Vogel is more than impressed with his Lakers roster.

The Lakers head coach said all of his players were full participants in Sunday’s practice. This is more than great sign for all the Lakers fans out there. LA players are more than ready to hit the floor and they have enough talent to win back-t0-back titles.

Los Angeles won the 2019-20 NBA title in Orlando two months ago. Players had the shortest offseason in team history. Although this may be a problem for some NBA teams, the Lakers seem to be good to go. It will be a challenging season for the team. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will lead the way for the team and they will see great help from their teammates. Talen Horton-Tucker was brilliant in the preseason. Kyle Kuzma was also great. Montrezl Harrell and the rest of the guys fit in Vogel’s winning formula.

Frank Vogel has a lot of stars on the Lakers roster

King James will turn 36 on Dec. 30. His durability has impressed pretty much every NBA fan and expert out there. LeBron was amazing in his 17 season in the NBA. He did miss the playoffs in his debut with the Lakers. LeBron played career-low 55 games in his first season as a Laker. Let’s just say that 2018-19 wasn’t really good for the team.

Vogel will keep his fingers crossed as the new season begins. Players have to stay healthy in order to make the postseason. A season-ending injury can definitely affect the team’s chances to win back-to-back titles. But, players will never miss the chance to win another ring. AD will go after his second title and LeBron hopes to win a fifth championship. Harrell left the Los Angeles Clippers to join the Lakers. We all know why. Kawhi Leonard knows why. The veteran has a real chance to win a ring with LeBron and AD by his side. Kuzma signed his new contract with the team and this sure gives him extra motivation.
