Lakers’ LeBron James Admits He’s Dealing With Ankle Injury, Reveals His Treatment For It

The Los Angeles Lakers had their first game this season and finished it with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James tweaked his ankle during the game and provided an update on his injury and the potential treatment.

The king of basketball had an optimistic update on the injury following the loss to LA Clippers.

“I turned it pretty good, but I don’t think it’s going to stop me from playing on Friday.”

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a 116-109 loss. They had some issues at the defensive end and their 3-point shooting wasn’t really well. The same applies to the other turnovers.

LeBron’s game wasn’t too good either. The king of basketball shot just 7-of-17 from the field and had four turnovers.

Head coach Frank Vogel’s team was out of rhythm. Maybe this is related to the fact that LeBron and Anthony Davis only played in two of the four preseason games.

LA players didn’t have much time to rest and relax following their title win in Orlando. They had to enter training camp this month and get ready for another long season.

LeBron James to get proper ankle treatment

The four-time NBA champion may need some type of load management. He lost the regular-season opener to the Clippers. Maybe things will get better once LeBron recovers from his injury. He has to be prepared and strong for the upcoming games. Lakers players will create the much needed synergy in the next few weeks. The team won the title in Orlando and they have to defend it. Playing and making too many mistakes is the last thing LA needs right now.

LeBron’s update comes as a big relief to us all. Suffering a terrible injury will affect the Lakers’ chance to make the playoffs. Remember what happened in his first year as a Laker? LeBron’s groin injury shut down the Lakers roster as the young players weren’t able to recover and win more games.

Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka signed a group of talented players. Dennis Schroder, Marc Gasol, and Montrezl Harrell will help the Lakers win more games in the 2020-21 NBA season.
