LeBron James Delivers Heart-Melting Message to Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his teammates received their rings Tuesday night and the king of basketball used the chance to deliver a powerful message for NBA icon Kobe Bryant.

Lakers players got their rings ahead of the season-opening game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The king got his fourth ring and it will serve as his biggest motivation in the upcoming season.

The four-time NBA champion took to his Instagram account to share his message for the Black Mamba.

Kobe, his daughter Gigi and seven others died in a helicopter accident outside Los Angeles earlier this year. Nine people lost their lives in the accident and NBA fans, players and coaches can’t get over the terrible loss. Kobe died too young. He had so much to offer and basketball players really liked him. He was a true mentor and inspiration for your NBA players. They all looked up to him and his competitiveness. Everyone wants to match Kobe’s greatness on and off the basketball. He won five rings during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe was part of the Lakers family for two decades. LA had a hard time making the playoffs since his retirement.

Kobe and LeBron talked the night before the tragedy. The Black Mamba congratulated LeBron for passing him on the all-time scoring list. This was actually his last activity on social media.

King James honored Kobe with the ring he won inside Orlando. LeBron and his Lakers teammates played their best basketball in order to win a championship. This was their first title since Kobe’s time with the Lakers. It was the 17th title in team history. Los Angeles finished the season with a title and LeBron played a key role in the process. The 35-year-old became the first player in league history to win titles with three different teams. He also won the NBA Finals MVP award with every title he won in the past 17 seasons.

Kobe is no longer part of the NBA family, but players are doing their best to keep his legacy alive.
