LeBron James Delivers Message to Rest of League as he Embarks on 18th NBA Season

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will soon enter his 18th NBA season and now he delivered a message for his fans and doubters. Yes, it was a clear message for everyone. The four-time NBA champion has so much to offer and plays elite basketball.

LeBron entered his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers with a heavy load on his back. His first year was a failure. The Lakers had a terrible season. Young players struggled to build chemistry. They couldn’t connect with the greatest of all time. The pressure was too big, and Lakers players lost the chance to make the playoffs. LeBron missed the playoffs and we all know what that means.

This was followed by an avalanche of doubt and criticism. Many said that LeBron couldn’t lead his team to the top of the West. There were also people who blasted the king for his inability to win games. But, it wasn’t his fault. LeBron suffered an injury on Christmas Day and had to miss a lot of time. His young teammates couldn’t take a step forward. LA missed the chance to win a title and LeBron was more motivated than ever.

LeBron to win a championship in his 18th season

This motivation led the king to his fourth ring. The front office signed Anthony Davis and sent a group of young players to the New Orleans Pelicans. AD and LeBron made the best duo and clinched the top seed of the Western Conference. They traveled all the way to Orlando to finish the season and return home with a trophy.

This past season, LeBron finished second in the MVP voting. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo won the award. It was more than obvious that LeBron deserves it.

In 67 regular-season games, the king was averaging 25.3 points, league-high 10.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. In 21 postseason games with the Lakers, LeBron played at a high level and won his NBA Finals MVP award.

LeBron won his fourth championship and his motivation is still strong. This season he will play with some of the greatest basketball minds in the league.
