LeBron James Drops Hint on Quinn Cook Future With Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers played with a good roster this past season, but some of the players had to go. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James would love to have them back, and he shared his thoughts on Quinn Cook and his potential return to the Lakers.

The Lakers had to waive the services of the 6-foot-1 point guard. If you ask LeBron, he will say that Cook sure deserves another chance with the team. The king complimented Cook’s outlook toward the gameplan. He even campaigned for the front office to consider re-signing the 27-year-old.

“Quinn, he’s a pro, he’s definitely going to get a look…Hopefully back with us…Hopefully we may bring him back.”

Quinn Cook played well with the Lakers

Cook arrived in Los Angeles as a free agent prior to the beginning of the 2019-20 campaign. He was part of the team for a year, and was averaging 5.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 11.5 minutes per game. He wasn’t really a superstar, but the Lakers got the best of Quinn during his minutes on the basketball field as a member of the secondary.

Prior to becoming a Laker, Cook spent two seasons with the Golden State Warriors. He won a title in the 2018 season. Yes, it was a win against LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cook won another ring with the Lakers this past season. He is a two-time NBA champion now, and this elevates his value as a player.
