The four-time NBA champion snatched his fourth title and experts predict back-to-back titles for the Lakers. General manager Rob Pelinka was pretty busy this offseason and he addressed some of the issues LA had last season. He signed several talented players, and LeBron would work really well with them all.

King James appeared in an episode of “Road Trippin” on LA-bases Spectrum SportsNet to talk about this Los Angeles Lakers team and its chances to win a title in the 2020-21 NBA season. Oh, yes, LeBron is ready to play his best basketball again.

“We can [repeat]. I mean, it’s that simple,” he said. “We absolutely can. … First of all, it all starts with health. You have to have some luck. You have to have health. If we can stay healthy.”

Lakers front office got talented players ahead of 2021

Some experts weren’t really convinced about the Lakers’ performance at the beginning of the 2019-20 season. They were full of doubts . But, the addition of big man Anthony Davis happened at the right time. LA pulled out the right move at the right time, giving LeBron the best partner on the basketball court.

Let’s not forget that there are also people who doubted LeBron’s performance. Doubters said he was well past his prime. LeBron proved them wrong.

The Lakers won last year’s title, and Pelinka added enough talent to do the same again.

LeBron is more than excited about the addition of guard Dennis Schroder, big man Montrezl Harrell, and veteran center Marc Gasol.

“We did get younger,” he said. “We have a 27-year-old point guard [in Schroder]. Got the 27-year-old Sixth Man of the Year award [winner] in Trez. We got younger. We got Marc, who is a Defensive Player of the Year and his IQ, not only playing against him in the NBA, but also playing against him versus Spain with the national team.”
