LeBron James Moves Past Kevin Garnett For Yet Another Scoring Milestone

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James hit yet another scoring milestone. The king of basketball had another impressive game, and fans were more than excited to watch his brilliant performance. King James and his Lakers teammates played against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday and LeBron finished the game with double-digits. King James scored for the 1,261 time and surpassed Kevin Garnett for fourth all-time. This speaks volumes about his great achievement.

The four-time NBA champion has an on-going record for most straight games scoring at least 10 points. This record started on Jan.6, 2007 and goes at 999 straight games. Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is second with 866. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is third with 787.

We shouldn’t really mention that this is a notable feat. LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time. He entered the NBA at 18 and analysts took notice of his passing and vision. Many have compared him to Michael Jackson and Magic Johnson.

However, LeBron has a different heft and speed. He looks like a football halfback. This helps LeBron push his way to a ring. Centers and forwards bigger than the him can in no way compare to LeBron. He is a beast and everyone knows it, including his critics.

LeBron James shocks fans with another scoring milestone

LeBron has a reliable jump shot and this makes him an amazing offensive player. Los Angeles needs that at this point of the season. King James has won four rings and he is on his way to win his fifth championship. Let’s be honest. Nothing will ever beat the fact that LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time.

King James sits in third place on the all-time list. He can overtake Abdul-Jabbar on the number one spot as long as he goes with 25 points per game in the next couple of seasons. In 2019-20, LeBron said, “I would be lying if I said I don’t see it. Obviously, I’m not trying to say, ‘OK, well if I play this amount of time, if I average this’ … I’m not doing that because I’ve never done that with my career. I’ve always just kind of let it happen. Whatever happens, happens. But I see it. I do see it.”
