LeBron James Sends Serious Warning About How Awesome Talen Horton-Tucker Is Going to Be

It was hard to ignore Talen Horton-Tucker in the pre-season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers. He was the star of the show. Horton-Tucker helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the game without getting any help from LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Clippers had slight advantage at one point of the game, but this only happened because Kawhi Leonard and Paul George entered the game. LA won without both superstars, and Markieff Morris and KCP also sat out the match. LeBron’s team would have done much better than 87-81 with him and AD on the floor.

The four-time NBA champion saw what Horton-Tucker did during the game and delivered a big warning for the rest of the NBA. According to LeBron, his younger teammate had a brilliant performance. He took to his Twitter to say a word or two.

Jared Dudley shares the same opinion.

Talen Horton-Tucker was a beast

Horton-Tucker finished the game with 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. He led both LA teams in scoring. This happened on a night when LeBron, AD, Morris, Marc Gasol, and KCP sat out the game.

The 20-year-old definitely used the chance he was given. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel spoke highly of his young player, and he considers Horton-Tucker a rising star. Friday’s win over the Clippers is the best proof of that.

Vogel said he planned to coach the young star harder than other players on his roster. We all know what that means.

In 2019-20, Horton-Tucker saw actions in six games, averaging 5.7 points, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 rebounds per game. NBA experts predict a different approach in the upcoming season. Given that Horton-Tucker can be great contributor to the game, he can easily get bigger role on the floor.

LeBron and his Lakers teammates are ready for the challenge. The king shared videos of his gym workout, and it was his way of warning others. The rest of the NBA better pay attention to this. LeBron and his teammates don’t want to lose games. They are here to win, and Horton-Tucker is one of the best surprises heading into the regular season.
