Report: LeBron James and Anthony Davis to Make Preseason Debuts

The Los Angeles Lakers won their two preseason debuts against the Los Angeles Clippers. Both superstars sat out the games, and head coach Frank Vogel didn’t include some of the newly-acquired players in the game. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have yet to make their preseason debuts. According to recent sources, they will see some action in Wednesday’s game against the Phoenix Suns.

Head coach Vogel said LeBron and Davis will play in the first half of the game. Vogel also revealed that Alex Caruso will sit out the game. Caruso will miss the third preseason game due to the hip flexor injury he deals with. He had to leave the second game against Kawhi Leonard’s Clippers due to this injury.

LeBron, AD, Gasol to make preseason debuts

Lakers fans can’t wait to see LeBron and Davis on the court. We haven’t seen them play for two months. It’s time for both superstars to hit the floor and stack some cool numbers.

LeBron and AD helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the 17th title in team history. They defeated Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in six games in the 2020 NBA Finals. It was an easy bite for the Lakers, and they showed everyone that impossible is nothing. Davis won his first title, and he won’t stop here. Let’s not forget that he signed a five-year contract extension with the Lakers. Davis is pretty serious about winning titles. That’s why he decided to stay around for a while.

LeBron earned the NBA Finals MVP award. This is the fourth award in his career all while averaging 29.8 points per game, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game in the championship run.

The four-time NBA champion will turn 36 later this month, but he hasn’t shown any signs of aging. Yes, he will have to retire at some point. But, nothing beats the fact that LeBron is the best player in the entire league. He is here to prove doubters wrong, and we can’t wait to see him celebrate another title. LA Lakers enter the upcoming season on Dec. 22.
