Warriors Reveal ‘Oakland Forever’ Court Design, Pay Homage With Amazing Tribute Video

The Golden State Warriors are part of San Francisco now, but they did pay tribute to their Oakland roots, and this court design says it all.

The Golden State revealed the “We Believe” uniform that was well accepted in the past. Warriors released a video featuring the “Oakland Forever” court design. It has the color schemes and font of the “We Believe” days.

Maybe this will give the Warriors a chance to recapture the success they had throughout the year.

Things didn’t work really well for the team since the arrival in the new home. Moving to San Francisco was a great move for the franchise, but players had a terrible season. In fact, they found themselves at the bottom of the list. In the 2019-20 season, the Warriors played without Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant. The latter left the team in free agency to sign with the Brooklyn Nets. Thompson suffered an ACL injury and had to stay away from the court.

Things got really worse after Stephen Curry broke his hand in the fourth game of the season. The Warriors made five straight NBA Finals appearances, and then had the worst record in the NBA.

Warriors players to hit the new court

Warriors players are really optimistic this time. Thompson and Curry were ready to hit the floor, and the team had options with the No.2 overall pick in the NBA draft. Well, the situation changed overnight and Thompson suffered an Achilles injury on draft night. The Warriors ruled him out for the season.

The Golden State still hopes to have Curry and rookie James Wiseman ready for the season. Losing Thompson was a big blow for the team. Warriors fans almost lost hope.

But, Warriors players will try to get the best of the season. Of course, they don’t seem to have a chance against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry is an optimist and he is not afraid of his opponents. LA has a strong roster this season and it will be hard to beat the king’s squad.
