Watch: Bill Belichick Throws Phone After Failed Challenge

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick throws his phone after a failed challenge. Simple as that. The legendary coach doesn’t really make excuses about his players. He doesn’t even make excuses about his mistakes on the football field. Belichick’s team didn’t have much luck against the Buffalo Bills, and the Patriots head coach threw the sideline telephone. Was this an expected reaction? Of course it was!

In the third quarter of the team’s game against Buffalo, coach Belichick challenged a play. He claimed that Bills tight end Dawson Knox was out of bonds when he made his catch.

According to the replay, the Bills player was inbounds, so New England lost the challenge. Head coach Belichick wasn’t satisfied with the result and blasted the person on the other side of the phone. He didn’t even hear what this person had to say. What happened next? Coach Belichick sent the phone flying.

Bill Belichick throws phone after his failed challenge

This happened a week after the Patriots left playoff contention. This was one of the two meaningless games New England has to finish the season. They are hosting this game at Gillette Stadium. New England went 31-9 in the third quarter of the game.

This loss dropped the team to 6-9 on the season. It was the team’s first losing season in two decades. Patriots fans aren’t used to this. We don’t really believe that Belichick was the most talkative person following this game.

New England lost every chance to win the title this season. Things went down the hill for Tom Brady’s former team. When it comes to TB12, he is doing a really good job with his current team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a nice record and the Patriots can’t get any near that.

We feel for pretty much everyone in New England right now. They all feel the wrath of Belichick, and that’s not the nicest way to finish the regular season.
