Watch: Kyle Kuzma Pokes Fun at Anthony Davis While Showing Off Hot New Car

Los Angeles Lakers rising star Kyle Kuzma follows every move his teammates make, and he didn’t miss the chance to react to Anthony Davis and his new car.

Kuzma took to his Instagram account to show his fans the new vehicle Davis bought right following the big win and signing his contract extension with the Lakers. The former first-round pick cracked a joke, adding that these “glow-ups” are pretty common after players get their rings. He also said that Davis was “acting different.” They gave us a good laugh.

“Look at this car! You acting different. You win one championship and you don’t know how to act.”

Davis has every right to act whatever he wants. He won his first title and signed a five-year deal worth $190 million.

Kyle Kuzma to follow Anthony Davis and get a new car

When it comes to contracts, Kuzma has yet to sign his extension with the team. The Lakers front office has to make a decision until Dec.21. Will they give him a rookie extension? There’s just one week to go, and General Manager Rob Pelinka has to make a good pick.

When asked about his deal, Kuzma said, “we’ll see.” Pelinka said last month that the franchise will discuss Kuzma’s extension “when the time is right” for both sides.

“In terms of Kuz, since we drafted him he’s been terrific, we’ve all seen his growth. As you guys know, the way the rules work, he has next season under contract with the Lakers and he’s extension eligible this offseason,” Pelinka said. “He has great representation, and when the time is right we’ll sit down and speak with them but we’re proud of drafting Kuz, we’re incredibly proud of his growth as a player.

“I think he showed in the bubble his ability to play at the wing and the four… And when you lose a defender and a wing player like Danny Green, I think, Kyle, we’re going to count on him to step in and play some of that wing role as well. He has the versatility to do it, so he’s going to be a great player for us and I expect that he will continue to grow next season.”
