Watch: Video Shows Rajon Rondo Allowing Girlfriend to Attack Other Woman
December 23, 2020
Former Los Angeles Lakers veteran Rajon Rondo and his girlfriend have some explaining to do right now. TMZ leaked a video and it sort of confirms the allegations against the veteran.
According to initial reports, Rondo and his girlfriend got into an altercation with another woman. The 34-year-old first pressed the woman against a car. The whole thing happened at an apartment complex in LA on July 28. Toktam Jorshari filed a lawsuit last week, explaining that the assault stemmed from a dispute over a parking space.
The assaulted woman entered the parking lot and first had a convo with Rondo and his lady. Rondo’s girlfriend got on her phone and Jorshari got close to her and shouted something. Rondo put his elbow into Jorshari’s body.

In court documents, Toktam Jorshari explained that she parked next to Rondo’s $300,000 Rolls-Royce SUV. The lady claims that Rondo had parked in a handicapped parking spot. Jorshari says Rondo was angry over how close she had parked to his side door. She also claims that the veteran and his girlfriend cussed her out and attacked her. Rondo’s girlfriend lunged at the woman but Rondo held her back. Well, he let her go and she started punching the woman. Jorshari never fought back.
Jorshari claims she suffered injuries which is why she sues both Rondo and his girlfriend for assault and battery, infliction of emotional distress, and conspiracy. The woman now seeks unspecified damages in excess of $1 million.
Jorshari’s attorneys, Eddie Tehrani & Arnold Gross from State Law Firm say this video proves Jorshari was the victim in the case.
“In the NBA, unnecessary and excessive contact is considered a Flagrant 2 foul, which can result in a fine, ejection and possible suspension of a player,” the attorneys said. “Outside the NBA such conduct is considered an assault and battery. No man should ever put their hands on a woman, ESPECIALLY an NBA basketball player with superior height, and strength. The video speaks for itself. The defendants have no desire to resolve this matter and we will be looking forward to trying this case and obtaining a favorable verdict by a jury of her peers.”
