2 Ways The Lakers Could in Theory Trade For Bradley Beal

The Los Angeles Lakers may go after Bradley Beal in case he hits the trade market in the near future. There are a few potential options for the Washington Wizards guard. The Lakers have won the championship inside the NBA bubble. This makes the team even more attractive for Beal and other superstars. Imagine Beal, AD, and LeBron James. They would make the best trio in the NBA.

KCP Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Talen Horton-Tucker, two future first-round picks

The Lakers will have to get rid of several veterans and a couple of young picks. It’s a terrible scenario but getting Beal is definitely a big deal. KCP has an affordable three-year contract. The same applies to Kuzma. The Wizards will get two first-round picks.

Horton-Tucker seems like a big fish right now. He will turn 21 in November and is definitely a good steal. Yes, the young player scores well and his defense is great. He is definitely worth all the money. If the Lakers front office makes this offer, the Wizards won’t refuse it.

Lakers to trade KCP, Kuzma, Dennis Schroder, three first-round picks and Quinn Cook in order to get Bradley Beal

It’s a similar deal to the first one. Schroder and Cook are good players. Washington could really use some help right now. KCP shoots threes at a high clip. Kuzma is young and can easily turn into a superstar. He has never had a leading role in LA. The addition of Schroder allows enough stability. The veteran can set the table for some of the young Washington players. Add Rui Hachimura and Deni Advija to the mix.

Kuzma is a good rebounder and can find his way on the defensive side of the ball. Los Angeles likes Schroder but they have yet to give him an extension. Cook may get waived.

If the Wizards trade Beal and the Lakers decide to get him, the teams should reach a fitting deal.
