Anthony Davis Reacts to James Harden Trade, Lakers Making Road History

Big man Anthony Davis reacted to James Harden’s arrival in Brooklyn, and he did that right when his Los Angeles Lakers made history.

The Brooklyn Nets got Harden on Wednesday and this trade didn’t really come as a surprise. Harden wanted out for quite some time and this desire became really strong in November. The former Houston Rockets veteran will reunite with Kevin Durant. They made the NBA Finals in 2012, but lost to the Miami Heat.

Davis likes how the Nets look like at the moment. He has to see them play before making any additional comments. Harden will have to adjust to a new system.

“They look good on paper and we’ll see how it goes when those guys get in between the lines and get a chance to play alongside each other.”

The Lakers big man was traded himself. His New Orleans Pelicans sent him to Los Angeles before the 2019-20 NBA season. Davis wanted to play with LeBron James and the Lakers front office wanted him so badly.

Anthony Davis and Lakers teammates make history

Davis and King James make the best duo in the league at the moment. They helped the Lakers win the 17th title in team history. When it comes to history, LA is doing an incredible job.

Los Angeles had a 7-0 record on the road and players are at the beginning of their season. This is a franchise record and Davis is really proud of himself and his teammates.

Lakers players play their best basketball and Davis has the right motivation.

“Is it really a road game? You don’t know. There’s no fans,” he told media members on a video conference call after beating the Thunder. “So, the court [design] is the only difference. But we go out and try to compete each and every night. We’re still trying to figure things out, and when we get a win out of it, it just makes it a bonus.”

The Lakers are considered favorites to win the title this season. Brooklyn has Harden this time. Maybe the veteran will get a chance to meet LeBron again in the Finals.
