Dennis Schroder Addresses His Future With The Lakers

Dennis Schroder joined the Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason. The team acquired him from the Oklahoma City Thunder and it looks like Schroder has finally found his home. If you ask the newly-signed Lakers guard, he will say that he would love to remain with the team for a really long time. What’s the biggest reason to make such a claim?

Schroder loves the team’s chemistry.

“It’s amazing. That’s the reason why I think I want to be here long-term, but like I said before, it’s got to be fair on both ends. If it’s fair, then, I ain’t got no problems. It’s gonna be great to be here long-term, for sure.”

The German native has really bought into the Lakers culture since signing with the franchise.

The defending champions are having a really great season. Lakers players have a 9-3 record of the season. They won both games against James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis will keep the Lakers stay on top of the Western Conference.

Schroder is a good fit for the Lakers. He is averaging 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. The veteran has started all 12 games for the team and plays 30.8 minutes every game.

Schroder will enter free agency at the end of the season. If Los Angeles keeps winning games and ends up winning the title, Schroder would definitely love to stay on the roster.

Both LeBron and AD love Schroder and everything he brings to the floor. The Lakers front office signed Schroder for a reason and he is here to do his job. Rob Pelinka did an incredible job in the offseason. Los Angeles has plenty of talent, and Lakers players have one goal. Davis would love to get his second ring. LeBron is going after his fifth title.
