Eat Beyond Adds LeBron James’ Trainer as Advisor

Eat Beyond will be working with LeBron James’ trainer Mike Mancias. The athletic trainer joined the advisory board of Eat Beyond. The company produces plant-based foods. Mancias has made a name for himself. He is an athletic trainer and recovery expert. We can’t ignore the fact that he is also a veteran in the world of professional basketball.

Mancias has worked with NFL, MLB, PGA, and many NCAA athletes. According to reports, Mancias is also nationally certified by the Accredited National Athletic Trainers Association in the US. He is a 14-year member of The National Basketball Athletic Trainers Association in the US and a 14-year member of The National Basketball Athletic Trainers Association. Need more? Mancias is also a brand ambassador for Beyond Meat.

“We are very excited to work with Mr. Mancias. Food Tech and innovation is not just about sustainability and taste, it’s also about optimizing human nutrition,” explained Patrick Morris, CEO of Eat Beyond. “Mr. Mancias is a proven and respected expert in this area and he has helped athletes including LeBron James to reach their full potential for performance and career longevity. He is an excellent addition to our team and we look forward to leveraging his expertise and reach.”

Eat Beyond is indirectly related to LeBron and the Lakers

Mancias became part of the Lakers prior to the 2018-19 season. He has great relationship with LeBron. During his time in the league, he worked with the four-time NBA champion in each of his stints with the Cavaliers. He was by LeBron’s side during his years with the Miami Heat.

LeBron has benefited a lot from this relationship. He has just entered his 18th season in the league, and yes, he plays his best basketball. LeBron did miss some time during his tenure with the Cavs and Lakers, but his durability impresses both fans and haters. It seems like age has nothing on the 16-time All Star. LeBron has this ability to get the best of his body and his skills, and the Lakers front office wanted to see more of that at the Staples Center.

When it comes to Mancias, he has embraced his role as an advisor for Eat Beyond. Of course, his new job won’t affect his role in LA. He makes sure Lakers players are healthy and ready to win their second straight championship. It’s a big responsibility and Mancias has the experience to get the job done.
