Gunner Olszewski Ready To ‘Skedaddle’ Back To New England In Epic Photo

Gunner Olszewski knows how to grab the attention of pretty much every Patriots fan. His social media activity is making headlines again.

The Patriots wide receiver/punt returner keeps posting hilarious photos featuring sights from Texans farms or his family life. Yes, we all saw the photos of him pumping his brother’s tires. Olszewski’s accounts provide cool content, and most of his posts aren’t even related to the game. The punt returner is not someone who shares videos of his workouts. That’s probably too boring for him.

The same thing happened over the Weekend. Olszewski shared a few pics of his Chevrolet Blazer and Ponyboy. His photo could easily become an album cover.

A lot of people talk about the “till next Feb” part. Was Olszewski trying to predict that the Patriots will win Super Bowl LVI? Guess who loves the post…

Gunner Olszewski to have another successful season with the Patriots

Olszewski has the Patriots’ single-season franchise record for punt-return average. He was averaging 17.3 yards per punt return on 20 attempts in 2020. He broke Edelman’s record of 15.5. The veteran wide receiver set this record in 2012.

NFL experts talked a lot about Olszewski’s hyper-aggressive returning style. He led the NFL in punt return yards 346 and led qualified returners in punt return average.

Let’s not forget that he was an undrafted second-year pro who gained 12 or more yards on 11 of those 20 returns. Indianapolis Colts running back Nyheim Hines ranks second on these lists. He totals 330 yards on 29 runbacks for an 11.4-yard average.

Olszewski had an incredible season. This performance has earned him a spot in NFL history. Just one player has returned 20-plus punts in a regular season and averaged more than 17.3 yards per punt return. It’s Buffalo’s Leodis McKelvin. He had 18.7-yard average on 23 attempts in 2012. Devin Hester ranks third at 17.1 on 33 returns.

The Patriots are coming off a terrible season, and they will try to repair the damage in 2021. Head coach Bill Belichick will make a few bold moves this offseason, and getting a signal-caller is a priority at the moment.
