Lakers’ LeBron James Is Taking His 3-Point Game to Another Stratosphere

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had his best 3-point game in the 2012-13 season. He was shooting 40.6% from deep and the Miami Heat used the best of it. LeBron is a career 34.4% shooter from beyond the arc. Some won’t consider him a reliable 3-point shooter, but the king decided to take his 3-point shooting to another level. He joined the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2018 and that’s when the big change happened.

In the game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, LeBron hit 3 points from the Grizzlies’ logo. Damian Lillard has turned these shots into a routine. In the big win over the Grizzlies, LeBron scored 22 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists in 32 minutes. He shot 3 of 6 from beyond the arc and 9 of 16 overall.

LeBron James to boost his 3-point game

In 2018, LeBron joined the Lakers in free agency. This was a big change for the four-time NBA champion. He made a lot of 3-pointers from the logo. LeBron made his logo shots look effortless.

Doubters say that LeBron can’t even compare to Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry in terms of 3-point shooting. However, LeBron has shown everyone that opponents have to guard him as soon as he crosses the half-court line.

LeBron and his Los Angeles Lakers are trying to win back-to-back titles. King James will do that for the second time in his great career. The Lakers are favored to win the championship this season. They have LeBron and Anthony Davis on the floor. The team lost the season-opening night to the Clippers. However, Kawhi Leonard and his team will have to try really hard to go beat their city rivals.

If the Lakers make the NBA Finals this season, they will probably play against the Brooklyn Nets. In other words, LeBron and AD will play against Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. LeBron will get to meet his former teammate. NBA fans would never miss that Finals series.

LeBron has a great chance to lead the Lakers to the 18th title in team history.
