Lakers’ LeBron James Reveals the One Person Who Will End His Hall of Fame Career

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is enjoying his Hall of Fame career, but we all know it will end at some point in the future. The Lakers small forward turned 36 in December and he still plays his elite basketball. NBA experts keep counting LeBron’s accomplishments and the list of awards sees a steady growth.

In his most recent post-game press conference, LeBron talked about his career. He explained that his game hasn’t changed in the past decade. The four-time NBA champion went from 26 to 36 with the same dominance. However, he won’t play at the same level at 46.

NBA experts are convinced that LeBron can channel his inner TB12 and play beyond 40. But, 46 is too much for everyone.

The Lakers superstar has averaged at least 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 15 seasons. Oscar Robertson has 8 seasons with these averages. In other words, most players can’t perform at a high level.

LeBron James puts up a brilliant Hall of Fame career

In his 17th season in the NBA, LeBron didn’t show any signs of decline. He even won a title with the Los Angeles Lakers. This season, King James is averaging 24.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.7 assists. His playing time is reduced, but this didn’t stop the king of basketball to put up some crazy stats. The Lakers dominate the West, and LeBron won’t take anything less than that.

According to LeBron, Savannah will be the person to stop him from playing at 46. LeBron entered the NBA in 2003 and he was 19.

“I continue to put myself in the best condition I can be in. I train my body and I train my mind every single day,” he told media members. “Come into the arena or the facility and I get in a lot of extra work. And hopefully, I can continue to do what I’m doing right now at 36 and see what happens. But I tell you, I don’t think I can go to 46. We can go from 26 to 36, but I don’t think I can go to 46, and I also don’t think my wife would like that.”

It’s interesting to note that LeBron and his oldest son may play together in the 2023-24 NBA season. Bronny is a sophomore at Sierra Canyon High School. He has attracted the attention of many scouts.

LeBron signed a two-year contract extension with the Lakers this offseason. His new deal is actually lined up with Bronny’s future career.
