LeBron James Gives Early Season Report on Lakers’ First 10 Games

The Los Angeles Lakers finished the first 10 games of the 2020-21 NBA season with a 117-115 win over the Chicago Bulls. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James provided an early-season report for his team. According to the Lakers superstar, the team did a good job at the beginning of the season.

“I think we’ve played B, B+ basketball, and that’s OK,” LeBron said. “We’ve added 5 new pieces to the rotation … we’re still learning each other. We’re getting accustomed to different lineups … we’ve played pretty good basketball, but we want to be better.”

LeBron James to provide a better report

The Lakers have a 7-3 record at this point of the season. There’s so much to be done. Players are trying to build chemistry. Of course, they started off well, and their chemistry is already here. However, they need to try even harder.

In Friday’s game, LeBron’s team struggled to neutralize the Bulls. Chicago hung on for most of the game. The Bulls aren’t a playoff team, and NBA experts predicted an easy win for the Lakers. Los Angeles played without big man Anthony Davis who is treating his left adductor strain.

King James led his team throughout the night. He finished the game with 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting while scoring seven rebounds, seven assists in 34 minutes of action on the basketball court.

It’s a long season for the purple and gold and they have a really good chance to win this championship. Staying healthy is a priority now. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is working on his load management plan. In other words, LeBron and AD will probably sit out some of the games. LeBron played through his pain, and AD is taking his time to heal and recover. Lakers players entered the season with a loss, but LeBron is definitely motivated to score more points and get another NBA Finals MVP award. He has four rings and four NBA Finals MVP honors. It’s time to add more to this number. The king of basketball can definitely do this. LeBron will get a lot of help from his superstar teammates.
