LeBron James Observe Using Fortune to Make a Massive Purchase

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has enough fortune to make an unexpected purchase, and this time he has been linked with one particular team. The kid from Akron opened a school in his hometown and got involved in the 2020 election, helping the less-fortunate use their right to vote. LeBron doesn’t mind using his name as a platform to make a change and make America a better country for people in need. He has accomplished so much in his career, but has yet to own a team. This is one of his biggest goals.

LeBron James to spend a fortune on a WNBA team

This leads us all the way to the Atlanta Dream. “Think I’m gone put together an ownership group for The Dream. Who’s in?” he tweeted.

Republican candidate Kelly Loeffler co-owns the WNBA team. She is a polarizing figure and we all took notice of the comments she made about the BLM movement. Loeffler wanted to put US flags on jerseys at the WNBA bubble in the summer of 2020. “Say Her Name” and “Black Lives Matter” weren’t an option for the Republican.

Well, Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock defeated his Republican opponent in the Georgia senate race. Atlanta players campaigned for Warnock and The Lakers superstar liked the way these ladies promoted positive change. They went against Loeffler’s bad principles. Basketball players have used their platforms to promote changes and LeBron is a true leader in that aspect.

LeBron, Portland Trail Blazers veteran Carmelo Anthony and many others flirted with the idea of owning the Dream so Loeffler can leave. King James and his group of associates have enough money to make the purchase. Will LeBron add “owner” to his résumé?

Will LeBron follow Michael Jordan? MJ is the only majority African-American owner in the NBA. The Bulls icon owns the Charlotte Hornets and represents the African-American community.

Many would agree that LeBron is pretty similar to Jordan. His willingness to become a WNBA owner didn’t come as a surprise to us all.
