LeBron James Reportedly Made The No-Look 3-Pointer Due to Bet With Lakers Teammate

Four-time NBA champion LeBron James destroyed the Houston Rockets with his no-look 3-pointer, and it was all part of a bet. The Los Angeles Lakers won both games against Houston and LeBron had a big role on the floor. As usual. The kid from Akron is all about winning games, but he never misses a chance to have good fun. That’s exactly what happened in Tuesday’s game against Houston.

In the second quarter of the game, LeBron hit his marvelous three pointer from the corner and then turned towards his bench. He was waiting for a reaction. Lakers bench jumped like crazy and the king of basketball rushed to the other side of the court. Many thought that LeBron was just looking for support from his teammates. Well, he was actually winning his bet.

Newly-signed Lakers player Dennis Schroder bet LeBron he wouldn’t make the shot. The king did his thing and his insane 3-pointer was pretty much everything we needed to see that night. LeBron sure looked Schroder straight in the eye.

LeBron James won the bet

Los Angeles was brilliant in Sunday’s game. It was more like an intro to Tuesday’s win over Houston. The Lakers had a 35-14 lead in the first quarter and finished the first half with a 71-48 advantage. The Rockets had no chance against that. LeBron gave the team a nice lead, and he had enough time to rest on the bench. The greatest of all time sat out almost all of the fourth quarter. He played just 30 minutes in the night.

King James finished the game with 26 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. His job is done here, and the Lakers are now moving on to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Lakers players entered the 2020-21 NBA season with some mistakes and they actually lost the season-opener against the Clippers. Los Angeles lost three of the first 10 games, and this motivated the king to go even harder on his opponents. Rockets players know it best. The Lakers will try to repeat the same performance against Oklahoma. They have all the talent to do that.
