He also talked about his MVP candidates on the 2020-21 NBA season. The Lakers legend shared his list yesterday, and he sure made a surprising twist.

LeBron James is No.1, and he is followed by Joe Embiid, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and Jaylen Brown. Well, he made a good point, but some fans got really confused.

King James is 36 and he plays his best basketball. The four-time NBA champion earned his spot in the MVP discussion again. He plays really well, averaging 23.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game. The Los Angeles Lakers are tied with their city rivals for the first spot in the Western Conference. In other words, the Lakers have a good chance to repeat the same performance in 2021. They won the NBA championship inside the bubble in Orlando.

Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic earned their spots, too. Their ranking didn’t come as a surprise. Both players are the incredible versatile. These two can change the momentum of every challenge they accept.

Johnson picked a player from his rivals. Brown has seen great improvement and his Celtics are third in the Eastern Conference. The talented player is averaging 25.8 points per game and shows great offensive power.
