Rob Gronkowski Names ‘Biggest Difference’ Between Patriots, Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski has great success during his time with the New England Patriots. He and quarterback Tom Brady won a lot of games and brought the Lombardi Trophy home on multiple occasions. TB12 left the Patriots to sign with the Bucs. Gronk retired right after winning the Super Bowl in 2018. What happened next? The brilliant tight end came out of his retirement to sign a deal with Brady’s Buccaneers. What made him do this? Gronk didn’t want to play any games because he was in so much pain. He enjoyed his year off and then returned to the field. Great Gronk is now getting ready for the Super Bowl!

According to Gronk’s recent comments, he and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick weren’t really a match made in heaven. Belichick is pretty serious and strict. Gronk likes to have fun. Did he get what he needed in Tampa Bay?

The All-Pro tight end sees things differently. Now he has a chance to reflect on his time in New England.

The Buccaneers have a different system. Bruce Arians sticks to his “no risk it, no biscuit” style, and this has helped the team make the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is a week away, and Gronk uses his free time to discuss the difference between his current team and the Patriots. It’s all about the freedom.

Rob Gronkowski found his freedom with the Buccaneers

Gronkowski went on SiriusXM NFL Radio to talk about all the Patriots-related stuff and his trip to the Super Bowl.

“There’s many aspects, you know, learning through that organization, lessons that were taught to me that I still use to this day and apply to this day,” the tight end said. “And then coming here, it’s is a complete 180, for sure, totally different. I mean, I feel like the biggest difference is just having the freedom of being yourself here in this organization.”

Winning games is always fun. “Every day is championship-level preparation” for the legendary tight end. He doesn’t mind playing football in Tampa Bay. He liked the Patriots too. Gronk didn’t have the ultimate performance each week, but his stats are pretty impressive. This guy didn’t play football for a year, and here he is, playing his Super Bowl.
