Shaq Daughter Surprises Him With Beautiful Artwork in Honor of Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant died a year ago, leaving everyone in shock. His death came like a nightmare. No one thought that great Kobe would die at 41. We have to get used to this sad reality. Fans have to get used to his absence. A great number of current and former NBA stars paid tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Shaq O’Neal got a pleasant surprise and this time his daughter surprised him with incredible Kobe artwork.

Taahirah gave her dad a pair of portraits of “The Diesel” and the Black Mamba.

Shaquille shared a video of the portrait, spiced up with videos from a one-on-one interview O’Neal had with Kobe in 2018.

This happened a day after the one-year anniversary of Kobe’s helicopter crash. Kobe, Gianna and seven others lost their lives in the accident.

Shaq and many other people were devastated following Kobe’s death. The NBA legend lamented not talking to his dear friend and Lakers teammate. We all know that Shaq refers to Kobe as his little brother. Shaq was really emotional and sad following Kobe’s death. However, he was also grateful about all the things the Black Mamba did on and off the court. Kobe had a big impact on the nation and people respected his example. He was a role model and true icon. Young basketball players followed Kobe’s footsteps.

Kobe and Shaq were part of one of the biggest dynasties in league history. The powerful duo won three straight titles between 2000 and 2002. Many would agree that they became the greatest one-two punch in NBA history.

Some media members like to pull out old material about Shaq’s conflict with Kobe. However, big Shaq likes to “refer to the conflict as a product of media hype.”

One thing stands for sure. Kobe and Shaq were incredible on the floor. Their brotherhood was really strong and Shaq is more than proud of their times together.
