NBA fans got the chance to see the best from the Lakers-Celtics rivalry Saturday night. The Los Angeles Lakers challenged their rivals for another tight battle. It was a big game for both teams and the defending champions finished it with a 96-95 win. Players on both teams had a spectacular performance, and the end did all the talking. This heart-racing finish will be making headlines for quite some time.

Saturday’s game was a battle between the titans. The two most storied teams in the NBA did their best to win this one. Los Angeles had better performance.

Lakers players had a one-point lead and a possession at the end of the fourth quarter. There was an eight-second difference between the game clock and the shot clock. Anthony Davis was right there, on the battlefield. The Lakers big man made his move, and Kemba Walker stripped the ball. It was a fastbreak chance for the Celtics on the other end. Impressive!

Boston players passed the ball around and Walker was open beyond the arc. Dennis Schroder offered great block, and Walker had to put the ball on the deck. The veteran guard did his step-back shot with three minutes left on the clock. He had a clean look from the wing however the ball hit the rim. Daniel Theis grabbed it for a put-back, but failed to score. AD grabbed the ball and the game was over. Oh this was definitely a crazy sequence.

Walker has been doing this throughout his entire career. But, this time he failed to score. Theis missed his chance and Boston lost the game.

Celtics players entered the fourth quarter with a seven-point lead. What happened next? They trailed the Lakers by seven in less than two minutes left on the clock. Boston pulled out a crazy comeback down the stretch. Jayson Tatum had two clutch buckets in a minute. Well, things didn’t go the way they planned and Los Angeles goes home with a big W.
