Ex-Patriot Duron Harmon Responds To Tom Brady’s Lombardi Trophy Hater

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady worked really hard to win his Super Bowl with the team. He worked really hard to get the trophy. Well, someone wasn’t really happy with his celebration. New England Patriots star Duron Harmon talked about the Lombardi Trophy celebration.

Brady delivered three passes to Bucs tight end Cameron Brate. He also sent the Lombardi Trophy flying. Brate definitely caught it. Brady’s passes fly over the sea, too.

The whole thing happened during the boat parade after the Bucs won their Super Bowl. It was a beautiful win over the Kansas City Chiefs. We can’t blame Brady for his decision to pass the trophy.

Someone was far from happy with the situation. Lorraine Grohl, the daughter of the silversmith who designed the first trophy. She took issue with this throw and even requested an apology from the Bucs quarterback.

“I personally would like an apology, not just to me and my family and the other silversmiths but to the fans, all the football fans the other team players,” Grohl said in an interview with FOX4 in Florida.

“It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football.”

Harmon took notice of her comments and issued a response. Some fans will definitely agree with on this one.

“So she didn’t care when Gronk bunted the ball with the Lombardi trophy two years ago,” Harmon tweeted Monday.

Harmon isn’t the only one who is making jokes of this request. Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht responded to the lady’s request, too.

Duron Harmon won his Lombardi Trophy

Harmon was brilliant with the Patriots, but the team traded him to the Detroit Lions last offseason. This marked the end to his eight-year tenure with the Patriots.

When it comes to Brady, he will try to do the same with the Bucs next season. He will meet his former team at some point in the season. That will be the game you don’t want to miss. Brady doesn’t even think about that. He is focused on his celebration. The man won his seventh ring, remember?
