Lakers’ LeBron James is Flexing on His Haters Who Thought He’d Chill This Season

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James won his fourth ring a few months ago, and he is already flexing on his doubters. The four-time NBA champion didn’t have much time to rest and recover as the team had a really short offseason. But, this didn’t stop him from winning games. Los Angeles plays really well, and players have a 20-6 record at this point of the season.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel considered resting LeBron at some points of the season. However, the Laker has yet to miss a game. The team relied on him in the past couple of games as Anthony Davis was out due to his tendonitis.

The four-time NBA champion played 46 minutes in the double-overtime win over the Detroit Pistons. He played 41+ minutes in both games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers took the game in overtime in both games.

LeBron James is flexing on his doubters for a reason

LeBron is averaging more minutes per game this year than during the previous season. Guess what… LeBron doesn’t get tired. He may be playing long minutes on the court, but this doesn’t even bother the king of basketball. LeBron joined the Lakers to win rings. There’s no time for rest.

The 16-time All-Star works on his shooting. He had some struggles earlier in his career, but his shooting is great now. LeBron is shooting 39.4 percent from beyond the arc on a career-high 6.9 attempts per game, and he is shooting just 5-for-19 from deep in the last couple of games.

Here are more numbers. LeBron is shooting 38.6 percent from beyond the arc on above-the-break triples. The Lakers superstar is making 50 percent of his step-back treys and has great success running into his jumper.

LeBron has the second spot in value over replacement player (VORP) and ranks fourth in Win Shares.

Los Angeles hopes to get Anthony Davis on the floor in the next few games. Pairing him with LeBron works really well, and these two have won a lot of games together.
