LeBron James Delivers Heartfelt Birthday Message to Lakers Legend James Worthy, Reveals Gift

Los Angeles Lakers icon James Worthy celebrated his 60^th birthday. It was a great day for the basketball legend and he received great messages from current and former players. Four-time NBA champion LeBron James didn’t miss the chance to wish Worthy a happy birthday and even got him a gift.

LeBron delivered a lovely message to Big Game James. He sent over cigars so he can celebrate his great day in style. The seven-time NBA All-Star was more than excited to receive the great gift.

It was a nice gesture from the king of basketball. Basketball players remembered Worthy’s great day. They always remember great legends and their great days. LeBron is a Laker now and he praises Lakers icons.

Oh yes, he didn’t even forget to give a few extra smacks for extra drama.

King James and Worthy didn’t meet on the NBA floor. Their careers were a decade apart. Big Game James called it career in 1994. He suffered too many inuries and had to go. LeBron entered the NBA in 2003 and he is still playing. The 16-time All-Star entered his 18^th NBA season and plays elite basketball.

Worthy spent his entire 12-year career as a Laker. He developed a nice relationship with the kid from Akron. LeBron arrived in Los Angeles in 2018 and he signed a two-year contract extension this offseason. In other words, he will retire as a Lakers superstar.

Worthy was a big forward for the Showtime Lakers in the 1980s. He measured at 6 feet 9 and 225 pounds. He had great athleticism and this helped him thrive in the Lakers’ run-and-gun game led by Magic Johnson. Worthy is a 7-time All-Star and he led the Lakers to three titles. He won Finals MVP in the 1988 championship game.
