LeBron James Surpasses Kevin Durant For No. 1 Spot in NBA All-Star Voting

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will really like the recent results of the All-Star voting. The four-time NBA champion was second in total votes. Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was on the top of the list.

The NBA has now released the second balloting returns, and guess who is No.1… LeBron. He passed the Nets guard for No.1. We could definitely see LeBron become the ultimate vote-getter.

LeBron has an incredible season with his team. He is averaging 25.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from three. These stats are pretty impressive, and LeBron won’t stop here. He is determined to stay on the top and win his fifth title.

When it comes to Durant, he is averaging 29.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. He is shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from three in the regular season.

LeBron James takes over the All-Star voting for a reason

The Lakers have a 20-6 record at this point of the season. Brooklyn has a 15-12 record and sits in third place in the East.

LeBron and Durant will get a chance to play against one another. Their teams are set to meet on Feb. 18, and yes, this game will be nationally televised.

Los Angeles has a good record and they had to win the last three games in overtime. LeBron and his teammates led the Lakers to overtime in both games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They celebrated a couple of wins this week. Los Angeles has won five straight games and LeBron won’t stop here. He is determined to win more games and lead the Lakers to the NBA Finals. Los Angeles won the championship in Orlando and it was a good motivation for the king of basketball and his teammates. Anthony Davis has won his first ring, and he is ready for more. The Lakers won the last couple of games without the big man. Davis is treating his condition and head coach Frank Vogel hopes to see him back on the floor.
