Los Angeles had some struggles to hit from downtown. This was a new problem for the team. Lakers players were pretty good in this aspect earlier in the season.

LeBron and his teammates fell behind early. Things weren’t that bad because the Lakers melted down Oklahoma’s lead and took an advantage in the fourth quarter.

On Monday, the Lakers met Oklahoma and took the game in overtime. The purple and gold won both games. Los Angeles will try to extend the five-game winning streak. This brings players closer to the top of the NBA.

The four-time NBA champion finished the night with 25 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. This was the third straight overtime game for the Lakers and the team celebrated the sixth straight win.

Montrezl Harrell was brilliant, too. He scored 20 points, and Dennis Schroder added 19. Young Kyle Kuzma scored 15.

This puts the Lakers second in the group, right behind the Utah Jazz. They are a half-game behind Utah for the best record among all teams. LeBron’s team has a 20-6 record on the season and they are ready for the Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis had a big win over the Charlotte Hornets, but the Lakers will find a way to shut them down.
