Report: Lakers Release Big Announcement Regarding Return of Dennis Schroder

The Los Angeles Lakers looked sort of confused in the last few games as they played without some of their key players. LeBron James and his teammates are in the middle of a four-game losing streak. This comes like a surprise because LA entered the 2020-21 NBA season with great assets and tons of talent. General Manager Rob Pelinka got all the right players for the roster, and there were almost no obstacles on the road. However, Anthony Davis suffered a serious injury and is expected to miss a few weeks. He is not the only player to miss time on the floor. The Lakers have announced the return of Dennis Schroder.

The German native missed four games and had to clear the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Guess what… Schroder will probably play in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Lakers listed him as probably for the game.

Lakers fans can’t wait for the return of Dennis Schroder

LA got Schroder through a trade deal in the offseason. They traded Danny Green in order to bring another ball-handler and attacking guard. LeBron needs some help with his workload, too.

Lakers players missed Schroder on the field and lost four straight games. They lost five of the last six games.

The Lakers struggle on the offensive end of the ball. Schroder can create transition opportunities for himself and his teammates, and this is of great help for the team.

Although Schroder’s offensive production went up and down in the season, he played really well in February prior to missing his games.

Los Angeles played without AD and it was a big blow for the team. He won’t return until mid-March and Lakers players can’t wait for this to happen. Davis is a valuable player on the Lakers roster, and the team needs him to win more games. LeBron and Davis make the best duo in the NBA and the four-time NBA champion needs his teammate back. Hopefully, Davis will recover and return to the floor before it’s too late. LeBron is used to playing without his superstar teammates but things are a lot easier when they are around.
