Report: LeBron James Leads Entire Western Conference in All-Star Votes

Four-time NBA champion LeBron James leads the West in All-Star votes in the first balloting return. Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Zion Williamson, Andrew Wiggins, Christian Wood, Brandon Ingram, and Carmelo Anthony are ranked right behind LeBron. Kevin Durant dominates the East. He is followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Domantas Sabonis, Julius Randle, Gordon Hayward, and Jeremy Grant.

LeBron James gets the most votes

LeBron turned 36 in December and he is having another amazing season. He is definitely a favorite to win the NBA MVP award for the season. The 16-time All-Star is averaging 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game with the Lakers this season. LeBron and his Lakers team won the championship inside the NBA bubble in Orlando. They will probably do the same again.

Anthony Davis ranks fourth in the Western Conference frontcourt players in this voting. He is averaging 22.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.3 dimes, and 1.9 blocks per game with the Lakers in 2021. He had a slow start to the season but Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is not really worried about his performance. AD sustained several injuries and missed some time on the floor. The recovery process stopped him from putting the same stats as last year.

Los Angeles has a 16-6 record at this point of the season. They have the No.3 spot in the West. LeBron and his teammates are ready to regain the throne and dominate the West. They did that in 2020. The Lakers defeated pretty much everyone in the NBA and earned their spot on the top.

When it comes to Durant, he is playing his best basketball. Let’s not forget that the two-time champion missed all of last season after sustaining an Achilles injury. He is averaging 30.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game with the Nets. Brooklyn has a 14-9 record at this point of the regular season.

Brooklyn built a superteam. The addition of James Harden was the perfect move and he works well alongside Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Will the Nets meet Brooklyn in the NBA Finals? We would never miss the series!
