Andre Drummond Announces When He’ll Make His Lakers Debut

Andre Drummond joined the Los Angeles Lakers a few days ago, and fans can’t wait to see him make his debut with the team. The veteran center will soon make his debut with the team. He is itching to play his first game.

The Lakers signed Drummond just before they got some days off. So, he won’t miss any games. The big man made an announcement on Tuesday. He is playing against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Andre Drummond is excited about his Lakers debut

Drummond joined the Lakers at the right time. The team plays without LeBron James and Anthony Davis. However, players were able to win two straight games without both superstars. Add Drummond to the lineup and you have a stronger team. The two-time All-Star has a chance to show his skills. Putting him on the floor against Giannis Antetokounmpo is the perfect test. Drummond will get a chance to show his defensive skills.

If Drummond leads the team to a win against Giannis’ team, fans will be super hyped for the rest of the season. Everyone has high expectations from the big man. He hasn’t played since February though. He sat out too many games and may need some extra time to get ready. Drummond will also have to fit in the new system.

That’s not all. Drummond will start in his first game with the Lakers. This pushes Marc Gasol to the bench. Gasol struggled in some of the games and LA decided to go after Drummond. Gasol may be disappointed but it’s an important season after all.

The Lakers will try to defend their title. Getting Drummond was a good decision. He joined the team to win a title. The Boston Celtics wanted him, too. The New York Knicks showed interest in the veteran and the same applies to the Brooklyn Nets.
