Frank Vogel Reveals What he Expects Lakers to do at Trade Deadline

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel made a shocking claim about his current roster. If you ask the brilliant coach, he will say that this Lakers team would work just fine in the next few weeks. Let’s not forget that the Lakers will play without Anthony Davis and LeBron James for quite some time. The NBA trade deadline is already here, and Vogel has to make a decision. Will Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka make a move ahead of the trade deadline? The Lakers have been linked to several top players.

The NBA trade deadline is on March 25. Vogel and Pelinka have to make some decisions. But, the head coach said he “believes in the group we have.” Fair enough. The Lakers have a lot of talented guys on the roster.

“My expectation is we’re going to win games with this group. I believe in the group that we have. … Most trade-deadline situations, there’s a lot of talks that result in nothing, and that’s my expectation as a coach.”

LA Lakers play smart ahead of the trade deadline

LeBron and AD led the team to the top of the Western Conference. However, their injuries happened and Vogel has to come up with a solution. Davis has been out since February. LeBron has already missed a few games. According to some experts, he will miss at least a few weeks. LeBron did travel with his team to Phoenix though. That’s a good sign.

The four-time NBA champion sustained his injury in the game against the Atlanta Hawks. LA lost that game and now they have an easy stretch of games. LA is 0-3 without LeBron in the lineup. That says pretty much everything you should know about his greatness.

The Suns and Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Lakers in the standings. LA can fall even further if players don’t try harder to fix the damage.

LA has another big match on Thursday. Playing against the Philadelphia 76ers won’t be easy. The Sixers are the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
