The New England Patriots made a big splash in the past few days. Head coach Bill Belichick brought elite players to New England. It’s more than obvious that the team is ready to go back on track. Belichick’s team missed the playoffs in 2020. They won’t go through the same again. The Patriots head coach re-signed Cam Newton and now he is re-building the team. He added the best tight ends to his roster. Hunter Henry is one of them and he is more than excited to join the Patriots.
Henry said his last goodbye to the Los Angeles Chargers. He will soon become a Patriot and his recent tweets confirm the signing. One of the best tight ends on the market has agreed to a free-agent deal with the Patriots.
Henry Hunter joins the Patriots to win games
According to recent sources, Henry agreed to a three-year deal with the team. This deal made the best headlines yesterday.
Here are his post:
“You took me in as a 21-year-old kid from Arkansas and gave me a chance in the NFL. I was able to come to an amazing organization where I grew as a player, teammate, man and husband. These last five years have been nothing short of amazing. Every time I stepped on that field, I gave everything that I had for my teammates, coaches and fans. It was an honor representing the bolt as a player and captain for the Chargers organization. I will always be thankful for the Chargers as they gave me the chance to live out my dream. Thank you.”
It’s time for some cool football. Henry will reach the highest heights with the Patriots. He plays elite football, and Belichick would give him a chance to do more with his talent.
Sharing a photo of himself spiking a football was a bold move. Reminds you of someone?
The Patriots got Jonnu Smith too, so Henry will be able to work with an excellent player. Let’s see how will these two fit in Belichick’s winning formula.
