Insider Drops Concerning Return Update on LeBron James & Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t make a move heading into the trade deadline. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel likes his current team. Well, NBA experts are a bit worried at this point. Fans are waiting for a return update on both LeBron James and Anthony Davis. It looks like these two will stay out for a while.

LA didn’t trade for a player and General Manager Rob Pelinka may check out the buyout market. There are a few great options for him. But, matching LeBron’s greatness is impossible. Lakers players should get ready for a lengthy run without their superstars. Things look really bad for the team at this point.

A concerning return update on LeBron and Davis

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that LeBron may miss between four and six weeks. This is the worst scenario Lakers fans could’ve imagined.

Vogel will be without his superstars for a long time. Is he ready for this? The Western Conference is packed with talent. LA may easily fall out of the top-eight seeds. Vogel’s team is only 5.5 games ahead of the ninth seed Memphis Grizzlies. Players need to elevate their game and win at least a couple of games until LeBron returns. Yes, everyone has to try really hard.

Charania reported that AD may join his teammates in two weeks. He has been out since February. Vogel won’t rush him back even with LeBron sitting on the sidelines. If Davis returns in two weeks, Lakers players have a better chance to win.

So, LA will have Davis back in eight or 10 games. Players should try to win three or four of these games. This would increase their chances to make the playoffs. AD is one of the best players in the NBA. LA signed him for a reason. Having him back would be an incredible relief for the team.

Prior to Davis suffering an injury, the Lakers looked like the best franchise in the league. They did find a way to win without him. However, LeBron’s injury was the final drop in the cup.
