Irked Donovan Mitchell Hits Back at Lakers Star LeBron James

There’s a growing rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz. Utah has the best record in the NBA, but people don’t seem to take them seriously. All-Stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were last picked in the All-Star game. This may not be a big deal for some, but the Lakers are poking fun at the team. Irked Donovan didn’t really like the comments LeBron James made regarding his team.

The All-Star didn’t take took kindly to what King James had to say about his team.

“I don’t want to be rude, but I really don’t care,” Mitchell said Sunday. “People have been talking s*** about me for a while. We’re not doing this to seek the approval of [LeBron].”

Irked Donovan has issues with LeBron James, Shaq O’Neal

Many would agree that Mitchell was sort of a punching bag this season. Shaquille O’Neal had a beef with the guard. LeBron is next on the list. Maybe Mitchell should let his skills do the talk. His season is awesome and he can easily lead his team to the playoffs.

The Jazz have a 27-9 record at this point of the season. They have never won a title. The team has the same roster from the 2019-20 season, and they weren’t even able to get out of the first round of the 2020 playoffs.

When it comes to LeBron, he has been receiving a lot of questions about his future in the NBA. Will he join the front office after his playing days?

“I hope that they allow me to retire from being an All-Star captain, so I can retire with a perfect 4-0 record,” LeBron said after the big win. “I’ll keep that forever. But we’ll just see what happens. I always try to pick the right team, and I’ve been lucky enough for four years to pick the right team. Guys go out and compete and play to win. I’ve been on the winning side of all four.”

LeBron is super busy leading the team to the top. He won a title with the team and he is ready to win another one.
