Lakers Get Concerning Injury News on LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers fans are waiting for injury news on LeBron James. The four-time NBA champion sustained an injury in the game against the Atlanta Hawks. This is probably the worst scenario head coach Frank Vogel could’ve imagined. Anthony Davis has been out for weeks, and the team doesn’t even know anything about his return. Things got worse today.

In the second quarter of the game against Atlanta, LeBron twisted his ankle. It was really ugly.

The 17-time All-Star came back to the floor and hit his 3-point shot. However, he had to leave the game right away and never came back. LeBron has this incredible ability to overcome injuries with ease. But, he didn’t return to the game and fans are worried. Analysts are worried, too.

Dave McMenamin from ESPN reported that LeBron will have an MRI on his right ankle.

Bad injury news about LeBron James

The king of basketball walked off the court without any assistance. That’s a good sign. But he walked in pain. If LeBron is out, the Lakers can freely give up on their championship dreams. Davis will return at some point, but LA has zero chance without LeBron.

Here’s another update. Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Lakers superstar has suffered a high right ankle sprain and will be out indefinitely.

This is terrible news for pretty much every fan out there. Lakers fans had high hopes for the season. Playing without LeBron will be hard, and his teammates will sure struggle.

Let’s see how will the Lakers finish their season. When will LeBron return? There are so many questions we’d like to ask at the moment. The situation doesn’t look good for the team though. NBA analysts are concerned about LeBron’s return date. If he misses too many games, the Lakers will sink to the bottom of the Western Conference.
