LeBron James’ Tweet About Former WNBA Owner Is Going Viral

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James wrote an eye-opening tweet about a former WNBA owner, and it’s now viral. His tweet made the best topic today, and a lot of people agree with him.

WNBA approved the sale of the Atlanta Team. Kelly Loeffler’s time with the team was brought to an end.

Loeffler made headlines for all the wrong reasons last summer. The senator criticized the WNBA for supporting racial justice activism. Players decided to wear their “Vote Warnock” shirts in support for Reverend Raphael Warnock. Yes, Warnock beat Loeffler and won the runoff election.

A month after losing her senate seat, Loeffler sold her stake in the team. A group of investors bought the team last week. Believe it or not two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery is part of the group.

Montgomery talked about her success. “I am excited to be able to continue my basketball career as the first former WNBA player to become a team owner and member of the leadership team for the Dream.”

Lakers’ LeBron delivers message for the WNBA owner, and it went viral

LeBron is one of the many athletes who supported Montgomery. He even took to his Twitter  to deliver a bold message for Loeffler. The four-time NBA champion was more than impressed to see Atlanta’s ownership change.

The 16-time All-Star is making headlines on his own, too. Zlatan Ibrahimovich made comments on LeBron’s presence on social media and his role in the world of politics, encouraging him to stick to sports.

What did LeBron say?

“He was the same guy who said when he was back in Sweden … because his last name wasn’t a certain last name, that he felt there was some racism going on when he was out on the pitch,” LeBron said. “I speak from a very educated mind, so I’m kind of the wrong guy to actually go at because I do my homework.

“So, there’s no way I would ever just stick to sports, because I understand how this platform and how powerful my voice is.”

He spoke in the name of many athletes who are trying to make an impact.
