NBA Insider Zach Lowe: “I Certainly Wouldn’t Pick The Clippers Over The Lakers.”

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t meet their city rivals in the Western Conference Finals. Kawhi Leonard and his Clippers teammates blew up a 3-1 lead. LeBron James and his teammates played against the Denver Nuggets. It was an easy game for the team, and they moved on to the NBA Finals. Jimmy Butler and his teammates couldn’t find a solution to the Purple and Gold power. Lakers players returned home with a big W. How will things go this season? NBA Insider Zach Lowe has shared his thoughts on the Lakers and their dominance in LA.

NBA teams are getting ready for the 2021 playoffs. The Brooklyn Nets brought James Harden to the team. Many other teams addressed their needs. LA lost Anthony Davis to an injury and he’s been out for a month. LeBron and the Lakers look really well right now as they have found a way to win without their big man. This doesn’t change the fact that Rob Pelinka will probably go after another veteran to boost his roster.

Zach Lowe goes with the Lakers

The Clippers still hope to see the same performance they had in 2020. Unfortunately, things don’t look too good for them.

Lowe isn’t really excited about the Clippers and the way they look on the field. He is the most recent doubter to discuss Leonard’s team. If you ask Lowe, he would say he’d pick the Lakers over the Clippers at any given time.

“The Clippers as of right now are not winning a championship, they’re good but not good enough, I certainly wouldn’t pick them over the Lakers,” Lowe says, via Lakers Daily.

The Clippers entered the 2021 season with a big chip on their shoulder. They had to work really hard to improve their game. Leonard, Paul George and the strong supporting cast should try even harder to win more games and make the playoffs. Will they be able to defeat LeBron James and Anthony Davis? Will Paul George elevate his game? There are so many questions we’d like to ask right now.
