Report: Patriots Have Been Getting Calls About Notable Trade

The New England Patriots finished the 2020 season with a 7-9 record. Head coach Bill Belichick is ready to rebuild the roster and sign the players he needs to make the playoffs again. Most NFL analysts would agree that Belichick will be really aggressive in the offseason. The Patriots may soon take part in a notable trade.

NFL Insider Mike Garafolo reported that the NFL teams have reached out to Belichick’s team about a possible trade for N’Keal Harry. The wide receiver may soon leave the team and sign with another team. The Patriots are getting offers, and Belichick may soon ship Harry away.

Patriots to add Harry to a notable trade deal

Harry s a former first-round pick for the Patriots. The team selected him in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, the receiver struggled to make an impact on the field, and things don’t look too good for him. In his two seasons with the Patriots, Harry had 45 receptions for 414 yards and four touchdowns.

The former Arizona State star had a hard time fitting into the team. Well, he really struggled to stay on the field. Harry played in 21 games with 14 starts in two years for the team.

The Patriots have a lot of cap space at the moment, and Belichick has a lot of issues to take care of. He needs to find a quarterback, and the team has yet to make a move in this aspect. Cam Newton started games under center. However, his signing wasn’t enough and the team struggled to win games. Newton got COVID and missed a game. The Patriots head coach likes Newton, but the quarterback may have to leave the team.
