Anthony Davis Announces When He’s Making His Return

Los Angeles Lakers fans are ready for Anthony Davis and his return. The Lakers big man hasn’t played since mid-February. His team lost too many games in the meantime. LeBron James is also out. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel had to rearrange the starting lineup and work with a couple of new players. Well, it’s time for some good news. LA dropped down in the Western Conference standings. Are you ready for the good news?

Lakers fans got a nice update on Davis’ status.

Dave McMenamin reported that Davis will return to the floor on Thursday. LA is playing against the Dallas Mavericks. The big man will play his first game since Feb. 14. It was a game against the Denver Nuggets and Davis finished the night with 15 points and 14 minutes.

The 28-year-old stayed on the sideline for two months. He was treating his calf injury and this was just another injury in his history. LA decided to hold out Davis until later in the regular season.

Prior to re-aggravating his injury on Valentine’s Day, Davis had an amazing game with the team. In 23 games with the Lakers, Davis was averaging 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks. He was shooting 53 percent from the field.

Davis is going back to the court and he is ready for the deep postseason.

McMenamin’s most recent report confirms what Vogel said about AD earlier this week. Getting LeBron back is the next priority for the team.

The four-time NBA champion suffered a high ankle sprain on March 20. He is doing some light work on the floor. Hopefully, we will have him back in the next couple of weeks. Once LeBronr eturns, the Lakers will go back at full strength.

LA fell to the fifth spot in the West. Kyle Kuzma and Andre Drummond had great games with the team, but LA struggled to stay afloat. They did manage to win some games, and LeBron is more than excited.
