Anthony Davis Sends Warning to Rest of NBA

Anthony Davis is back in the game and he has a warning for other NBA teams. The Los Angeles Lakers lost both LeBron James and Anthony Davis due to injuries. The big man hasn’t played since Valentine’s Day. LeBron left the game against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20 and has yet to return to game action. The Lakers were sitting on the top of the West and they dropped to No.5 in the conference.

Davis is seeing light action on the court and he is ready to elevate his game. Lakers players are happy to have him back. Similar to Dennis Schroder, Davis isn’t really worried about the current standings. A lot of superstars suffered terrible injuries and they all missed significant time.

Anthony Davis has a warning for the NBA

Davis is loud and clear. He’d put his team against anyone. These struggles made everything a lot sweeter for his team. The big man believes that his team can beat anyone in a seven-game series.

“No matter where we fall, we know that we’re capable of still winning a championship,” said Davis. “Injuries played a part this season for us but we always say: it just makes it a lot sweeter at the end, to go through something like this. I’d put us up against anyone. I don’t think no one wants to see us in the first round. Know the type of team that we have and I know what we can do. I think we’re capable of beating anyone in a seven-game series.”

Davis suffered an injury in February. He was treating his calf strain and Achilles tendonosis. AD has returned for the Lakers’ last two games but Frank Vogel limited his time on the floor.

The Lakers will boost Davis’ minutes in the next period. LeBron is out due to a high-ankle sprain but he may return as early as next week.

LA is fifth in the West and they may fall to No.6. The team is 1.5 games against the Dallas Mavericks.
