New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton took part in Pats West training sessions and there’s a video of the whole thing. The veteran quarterback spent some time with some of his teammates. Patriots pass-catchers are strong and tough and Newton had a good session with them.
The 2015 NFL MVP re-signed with the Patriots prior to the new NFL year Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski joined Newton for the workout at Dexter Southfield School in Brookline, Mass last week. Prior to the training session, the quarterback was in California for workouts with tight ends and wide receivers. A little bit of everything, right?
We have ssen some videos of these greats “Pats West” sessions. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham organized the sessions and players had a really good time.
Cam Newton enjoys training sessions
Newton took to his Instagram account to share videos of the sessions in Southern California.
The quarterback joined the Patriots two months before the start of the 2020 NFL season. He didn’t have much time to learn Josh McDaniels’ offense. He got COVID and yes, 2020 was sort of terrible for the quarterback. Well, it’s been a year now, and Newton found his spot under the sky. He had a year to learn pretty much everything about the Patriots offense. Newton was pretty active this offseason. It was a regular spring for the quarterback.
Newton is ready for a successful season with the Patriots. Head coach Bill Belichick trusted him enough to give him a second chance. Maybe he will get another quarterback and make him compete with Stidham and Newton. Well, one thing stands for sure. Newton is staying with the Patriots and he is determined to have a more successful season this time.
The Patriots made a strong move in the offseason and signed great players. Belichick signed Jonnu Smith, Hunter Henry and a few other players who can contribute to the game. New England is strong on both ends of the ball. We have every right to believe that the Patriots would have a great season.
