Comedian Megastar Gives Cam Newton Cryptic Advice for Dealing With Haters

New England Patriots veteran wideout Cam Newton has gathered an army of doubters and haters throughout his entire career. Well, great Cam Newton enjoys the support of millions of people in the sports world. Newton has a new show on BET called Sip and Smoke. In the first episode, the Patriots quarterback talked to comedian, actor, radio personality, and author Steve Harley. At the very end of the interview, Harvey provided cool advice to Newton.

Newton was getting ready to finish the conversation. However, Harvey stopped Newton and said the following:

“Hold on Cam, let me say something to you. There is an African proverb ‘Lions don’t turn around when small dogs bark.’ Don’t even turn around, dog. You a lion. When them small dogs is barking, you ain’t even gotta turn around. Cause you turn around, you could snap they a## up. If a lion turn around on a small dog, dat b#### is fitna, he fitna fold and crumble. Keep walking through the jungle, cause you’re a lion. Lions don’t turn around when small dogs bark.”

Newton liked every bit of the advice and said, “I’m a take that.”

Harvey had every right to make these comments. Newton has received a fair share of criticism in the world of sports.

Newton had to deal with a teenager who blasted him. The kid assaulted him verbally. There’s a video of the incident and Newton acted like a grownup man. The kid was the small dog.

The Patriots offered Newton a one-year deal and this is the perfect motivation for the quarterback. He is ready to reach different heights and maybe win a Super Bowl with the Patriots.
