Frank Vogel Offers Promising Update On Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game against the Boston Celtics and fans started asking the same questions. We all need an update on big man Anthony Davis. The Lakers superstar hasn’t played since mid-February, but his condition has improved significantly. Davis has yet to see some action and he has missed a lot of time on the floor. Will he return to the court in the near future?

LA needs AD more than ever. Things got really hot in the NBA and many teams have tried to challenge the Lakers. LA entered the new season as the top seed in the Western Conference. They fell to No.5 seed following the injuries of LeBron James and AD.

Guess what… Davis may return to the game next week.

An expected update on Anthony Davis

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked to the media on Thursday and provided an update on the big man. AD has been cleared for full on-court activity. NBA insider Tim Bontempts confirmed the update. However, Davis won’t jump straight into action. The team will use these few days as a ramp-up period. Simple as that.

The Lakers are finishing their four-game East Coast trip Thursday night. They played against the Boston Celtics and lost the game. Players will return to the Staples Center for the weekend. They have to get ready for the top-seed Utah Jazz.

We have a few good reasons to believe that Davis will play in the next few games. He will probably hit the court next Thursday in Dallas. LA plays against the Dallas Mavericks, and Davis wouldn’t miss that game.

Playing without Davis was hard and the team lost too many games. But, they also won some and that’s a good sign.

Losing LeBron was a big blow for the team. He had to leave the game on March 20 and hasn’t returned to the floor. We can’t really provide an update on his return. Vogel and Rob Pelinka will have to make the right decision. Rushing superstars in the middle of a recovery process is never good.
