Kevin Durant Claps Back at Analyst for ‘Lying’ About LeBron James Quote

A lot of analysts would say that LeBron is the GOAT. He is 36 and still plays at an elite level. Well, some say Father Time is catching upon him. Will Kevin Durant ever get a chance to overtake him?

Durant won two titles against LeBron and his Cleveland Cavaliers. He looked like the second-best player in the world. However, Durant suffered a terrible injury in the NBA Finals of the 2018-19 season. He had to miss an entire season. LeBron won a title and showed everyone that he is the GOAT. Simple as that.

Maybe Durant still thinks he is the best basketball player in the world. Former NFL player and Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe said that Durant suggested that he was the greatest player over the King. Guess what… Durant has never said anything like this. The Brooklyn Nets veteran took to Twitter to criticize Sharpe for making a false statement.

Durant may believe he is better than LeBron but he has yet to make such comment.

LeBron turned 36 and he is coming off a shorthened offseason. His recent injury has kept him out of the game for a few weeks. Durant has suffered an injury, too.

He played at a high level and analysts tossed him in the MVP conversation.

LeBron’s Lakers defeated the Nets with a 126-101 score. It was an amazing night for the purple and gold. Durant definitely respects the Lakers and their great effort.
