Lakers Have New Timetable For LeBron James’ Return From Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers played without their superstars for too long. Anthony Davis is back on the court and things look much better now. Lakers fans can’t wait for LeBron James to hit the court and there’s an update on his return from the high-ankle injury.

The Lakers are built around LeBron and AD. These two led the team to the championship last season. However, both players went down with injuries and had to miss significant time. Davis hasn’t played since February and LeBron had to rest in the past few weeks. He suffered an injury in the game against the Atlanta Hawks on March 30.

Davis missed 30 games due to calf and heel problems. The team struggled a lot without the big man and went 14-16 without him. Davis’ minutes are going up now. He was really quiet in his first game on Thursday and scored four points on 2-of-10 shooting. Davis also hit 4 rebounds in 17 minutes of action.

LeBron to return from his injury

What about LeBron? Lakers players really need the four-time NBA champion to return to the floor. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers are preparing to have the superstar back as early as next week. This is more than great news.

“You’ll see Anthony Davis still be on that 15-minute restriction in his second game back tonight, but that’ll start ramping up as we get closer to LeBron James’ return, which could be as soon as the following week,” Woj said on NBA Countdown tonight.

Davis and the Lakers are getting ready for their next opponents.

LeBron has been out since March 20. He has been more durable than any other player in NBA history. The Lakers went 7-10 without LeBron.

The king of basketball is averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game. LA needs more of these numbers in the future. LeBron is the ultimate leader for the team and players need him to reclaim the top seed in the West. Let’s see how will things go for the purple and gold. It’s time for a big win.
